Biography

My name is Adan Miller, I'm 19 years old and have lived the majority of my life in New Hampshire. My mom, step dad and two step brothers live there and that is where I went to school all the way through graduating high school. My dad and step mom recently moved to Austin from New Mexico, which I have yet to visit so I'm looking forward to seeing them out there soon!  

Major- I am currently undecided on a major and am hoping to have a more solid plan by the end of my freshman year. Currently the renewable energy field is very interesting to me and I think I would enjoy pursuing a job based in that field, preferably outside.

Dream Job- To have my own custom Overland vehicle and trailer manufacturer company.

Hometown- I was born in Indianapolis Indiana but moved to New Hampshire five weeks after I was born and have lived in Peterborough for the majority of those years.

Fun Fact- I can juggle four balls, three clubs and three knives.  I Also love mountain biking.

 Yesterday I went wheeling with a buddy who I've been following on Instagram for a while but had never met. It turns out he graduated from Brevard a couple years ago and we met playing golf with a few of my friends who knew him from when he was here. We hit it off on the course and Thom said he would take it out with him which is what we did. It was a lot of fun! His rig is very nice and much more built out than mine so I was a little bit worried about whether I could keep up with him on the trail. It turns out I was able to and it wasn't too difficult it was just very narrow, I got a lot of new pinstripes on my paint. His FJ got through with a lot less difficult but my 4Runner did completely fine and I was happy with its performance for mostly stock besides suspensions and tires. Post#7 UNC Chapel Hill

 Last weekend I went to visit my cousin who goes to UNC-Chapel Hill. I left early Saturday morning for the 4-hour drive to be there by the 12 o'clock kick-off time football had against 8-0 Wake Forest. I immediately loved the vibes I got when I arrived on campus. there were so many people walking around and going to the game, massive parties outside, and music. We met up by his dorm and then went to the game. it was really good, they were playing pretty evenly as they went back and forth with the touchdowns. in the end, after some pretty exciting plays and turnovers, the Heels won 58-55. After the game, we rushed the field with the rest of the fans and that was insane. it was really sick to be playing around with the music and all the players around us as well. Then we went to dinner at the cafe, which was amazing because the food was so good, a nice change from our food here which sadly isn't always the best or most exciting. Post#3 Brotherhood

     M any of us worry about meeting new people and making friends when going or visiting new places, which is understandable but What I have come to find out for myself is that it really isn't as nerve-wracking as it may initially fell ahead of time. The best way to get started when you are beginning from scratch is to find people who have a commonality with you, for example, it could be sports, music, outdoor activities, art, etc.  Because when you spend time with people who have those similar interests you will then meet even more people who are similar to yourself and you will form a tighter bond quicker. For me, this has been helpful to have found and understood for living at a boarding school, Joining different soccer clubs, working, and now going to college.
